CMPROficiency 2011 welcomes guest speaker Steve Easterbrook from the Configuration Management Process Improvement Center (CMPIC)
Steve Easterbrook from CMPIC has over 30 years of experience with configuration management. Steve will be speaking to the full group about Configuration Management – Preventing Process Meltdown. Steve stated, “I will show how failures in configuration management have resulted in costly errors and real life tragedy, and I will explain how a good configuration management process can reduce corrective action, exposure to negative publicity, avoid lawsuits and, most importantly, save lives."
Steve has experience in:
- Educating and advising over 4000 students in commercial and government settings. Some of the organizations Steve has educated are: Toro, Bose, Seagate, Starbucks, Boeing, Airbus, Apple, Dell, HP, Microsoft, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin.
- Lecturing about the principles and benefits of CM at many conferences and industry specific events, such as: NATO, NSA, CMII Conference, USAF AOC, and ACDM.
- Consulting, assessing and recommending CM improvements to the International Space Station Program, US Customs and Border Patrol, Federal Aviation, Department of Justice, and Nonin Medical.
